How to Measure Your Auger for Custom Wearshoes
If the auger has ever been re-flighted or if it is an auger size we don’t have on file, the following information will be needed:

Flight Height
Reference picture "A"
NOTE: Flight height x 2 + center tube diameter = flighting diameter -
Outside Diameter of Center Tube
Reference picture "B" -
Pitch (distance between flights)
Reference picture "C"
NOTE: When measuring pitch, be sure to keep the tape measure parallel with the center tube. -
Left Hand or Right Hand
To determine if your auger uses left hand or right hand flighting:
Picture "D" and "E" shows right hand flighting
Pictures "F" and "G" show left hand flighting
