Where Innovation Takes Shape.

Lundell Plastics Adds Staff, Advances Product Offerings

05-22-14

ODEBOLT, Iowa - Lundell Plastics is continuing its commitment to listen to customers' needs as well as advance the ag industry through innovation. Through product research and customer feedback, the company has recently introduced an enhanced version of their FreeFlo™ Dry Inoculator.

The high-rate inoculator, which accurately meters and distributes dry materials such as inoculants, graphite and talc, can provide higher planting accuracy and reduced wear on planter components. With the recent talc feeder enhancements, the Iowa-based plastics manufacturer increased the production ability which allows customers to run 20-80 lbs of product per hour. Changes to the product were implemented in Spring 2014 and not only increase capacity, but also improve overall farm efficiency.

As the company keeps looking for ways to improve their customers' efficiency, they also continue to add talent. Mitch Bengford, an Odebolt native, was recently hired by Lundell Plastics to assist with product assembly. Bengford, who has over 35 years of manufacturing industry experience, adds knowledge and depth to the growing team. Benford will work closely with company veteran Jenette Down, who has been working to streamline production for the company for over 10 years, as well as Ryan Weitzel who has 15 years of sales experience with Lundell Plastics.

"We're fortunate to have so many hardworking employees," says President Vance Lundell. "Our dedication to our customers and our quality products starts with our employees; they continue to elevate our offerings and it shows through our customers' feedback."
